Kyle Langan is an award-winning blogger, author, and founder of the lifestyle website, www.HamptonstoHollywood.com. After he received his BA in Journalism, he threw himself into the luxury lifestyle of the Hamptons and New York City, covering star-studded events, conducting celebrity interviews, and giving readers of notable publications a sneak peek into the lives of the east coast elite
With a desire to tell more entertainment-related stories, a move to Los Angeles sparked the idea to create HamptonstoHollywood.com; a media site and ecommerce store that celebrates the casual luxury of the Hamptons and LA, gives insight into the people and places of both locales, and sells products made by local artisans. Hamptons to Hollywood was named “Lifestyle Blog of the Year,” twice, in 2015 and 2017, respectively, and also produces a monthly podcast that hosts conversations with actors, producers, culture changers, and other entertainment industry figureheads.
In 2016, Kyle’s debut novel, Uncharted Waters, was released; a young adult novel that tells a twisted story of friendship and caste set against the backdrop of the Hamptons social scene. A sequel is set for release in 2021.
Kyle still runs Hamptons to Hollywood today and is also a social media consultant for a variety of LA-based lifestyle brands and public figures. His love for telling stories hasn’t diminished; in fact, it’s only grown in recent years. Described by some as breathlessly optimistic, affable, and fun-loving, talking to people is not only his passion, but also one of his greatest skills.
During COVID-19, he’s learned that the art of the conversation has become one of society’s greatest unifiers, because everyone has a story to tell. And Kyle helps people tell their stories.
He’s thrilled to join BHL Magazine as the Arts & Culture Editor to continue telling the stories of the innovators, tastemakers, and celebrities of Beverly Hills and beyond.
