When most people think of Hermès the first thing that comes to mind is the famous Birkin bag. Some people might even think of the Kelly. Both extremely iconic and deserving of the spotlight that they have had over the years. These bags have definitely been a main reason that Hermēs is upon most of our minds, however this fashion house has created some of my favorite bags apart from the Birkin and the Kelly.
Hermēs over the years has created some of the most stunning bags. Their design, functionality and use of color have always impressed me. Not only are these bags works of art they are also better investments then art according to Knight Frank Luxury Investment Index, published by real-estate brokerage giant and wealth-researcher Knight Frank. In 2019 art had an overall return of 5%, handbags had a return of 13% or higher.
In this list, I have collected some of my favorite current bags. Each bag is unique, beautiful and creates a solid opportunity for someone to stop you and ask you where you got that fabulous bag. I hope you enjoy this list as much as I enjoyed compiling it.
