On August 22nd, the stylish grand opening of Lamborghini Newport Beach drew local VIPs and automobile enthusiasts alike. It would have been hard to stay away with an exclusive viewing of one of Lamborghini’s newest hyper cars, the $2.2 million Sesto Elemento. Taking its name from the sixth element of the periodic table, carbon, the Sesto Elemento boasts innovative carbon-fiber technologies. “The Newport Beach community is one of the strongest markets for Lamborghini worldwide, and we are excited to share the Sesto Elemento with our dedicated customers here,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Lamborghini President and CEO, who also attended the opening. Lamborghini also had the Aventador LP 700-4, which was recently featured in the latest Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises, on display for guests to view. The event created quite a stir in Newport Beach, and its success was perfectly timed as Lamborghini goes into its 50th anniversary.
