For an exotic getaway that will keep you in high heels and lip-gloss, check into The St. Regis Mexico City, located in the heart of this ancient capital, and be transported to the future of luxurious hospitality. High above the bustling city streets, The St. Regis Mexico City is ensconced in architect Cesar Pelli’s sleek, 31-story Torre Libertad or Freedom Tower, overlooking the city’s signature Paseo de la Reforma.

Touch the sky and take in breath-taking views of the city’s historic plazas. You are more than safe in the St. Regis. It’s set amid the Mexico City’s metropolitan culture with its 189 exquisite guest rooms, including 36 suites and a grand presidential suite. Each one is decked out with the latest digital technology and modern conveniences and can be quickly customized to your individual needs.

The helipad on the roof makes the St. Regis an easy get. The Remède Spa will rejuvenate any and every globetrotter with Pilates, Yoga, Hot Stone and Reiki. Here they recognize each guest, each face, each body as unique—no two facials or massages are the same. We loved the Aztecan Regenerating Facial, complete with an oxygen treatment. Next time, we must try La Luna Healing Ritual. Afterwards, indulge in the chilled champagne and snacks in comfortable spa lounges. Located on the 16th floor, the spa offers seven treatment rooms and spa lounges with truly spectacular city views as well as a refreshing juice and tea bar.

The two-story high lobby of the St. Regis with its walls of glass plays host to the daily tea ritual and a celebratory champagne ritual. The atrium opens out to a deck giving you a glittering city view like no other. Although Mexico City can give you some of the greatest dining opportunities in the world, you needn’t go any further than the elegant Diana Restaurant a few steps off the lobby. Named for its superb view of the glorious Fountain of Diana the Huntress, be sure to request a table on the romantic outdoor terrace. Come with high expectations and they will be exceeded.

Have more than you can handle? No prob. Guests may request the St. Regis Butler Service any time, day or night. The savvy concierge staff is happy to direct you to the city’s hidden treasures, hottest boutiques and the aforementioned world-class dining in this global cultural destination. We suggest you visit the ancient Mayan pyramid recently found in the center of the city…crystal skull not included.
